Luncheon Attendance Information
Note that the location has been changed to Ryan's
The LHS Fifties Luncheons are held four times each year. The date for the next luncheon is determined at the last luncheon by consensus of the attending group. Charles Hasty (class of 54) is the emcee and Annette West Webb (class of 55) helps with organizing and reserving the room at Ryan's at the shopping mall.
The only requirement to attend is that you attended LHS in the fifties and that you enjoy meeting with old friends and classmates. Be prepared to shake hands and hug some of your old classmates that you have not seen in years and I mean years. We have had representation from the 54,55,56,57,58 and 59 classes at previous luncheons. Let’s see which class can get the most representation at the next luncheon.
We try to arrive at Ryan's by 12 noon on the Saturday of the luncheon. Annette has a room reserved ahead of time. Ryan's management has requested that we pay upon entering so that a large crowd will not gather at the cashier desk. Most try the buffet, but there are other choices. We then try to sit with a group and pick out someone you have not seen in many years. Usually after a couple of hours of fun and enjoyment, the crowd breaks up and all the senior citizens have to get home and us young chickens hang around a little longer.
